Not long ago, our body was seen as a machine with a certain life expectancy, and traditional medicine believed that. We were sure that at some point some part of our body would "break" and the machine would start to fail. We considered that this was impossible to fix. We also firmly believe that body and soul were completely separate.

The truth is that current scientific research is getting closer and closer to fully believing the opposite. The idea that our bodies are formed by an energy field connected to our mind is becoming stronger and stronger. Now, it is clear that what we used to understand as “natural aging” is, to a large extent, a conditioned response to certain problems that can be experienced.

1. Modify your perception of the body and aging

Perception is something completely ive and subjective. What we call “reality”, including the state of our body and mind, is actually a perception that is exclusively ours. Energy that is constantly changing and renewing itself, changing shape.

Start paying attention to your internal dialogue and how you perceive aging. If you are going through a stage you think you are old, try to change your point of view about it, as not everything is reduced to age.

2. Less stress and more meditation

Meditation is an excellent tool for the body and the mind. Through it we can reach truly deep and healing states of relaxation. Meditation helps to reduce stress and slows down the internal aging process. When we meditate, our breathing becomes slower and we experience a decrease in heart rate. In this way, we relax and calm the mind as much as the body. There is research that proves and demonstrates the benefits that the habit of meditating brings.

3. Relaxed and deep sleep

Being able to get restful sleep is one of the most fundamental things to be healthy and strong. Many people do not consider hours of sleep to be important in their lives and little do they know how much they do not sleep well. The truth is that if we don't have the necessary rest, our body weakens, we get sicker and, of course, we accelerate the aging process.

Ideally, sleep between 6 and 8 hours a day. A good dream will make us feel truly energetic when we get up and, therefore, we face our activities with enthusiasm and positivity.

4. Good food

There are many foods that accelerate the wear and tear of our body and soul, as well as others that revitalize and repair us. The most harmful foods are usually canned foods, microwave meals and the "junk" style. Focus on having a balanced diet and eating healthy. You will see that this will positively affect both your body and your soul.

Spicy, bitter and astringent foods speed up our metabolism and are natural inflammators. Find out how much healthy food you can eat and what properties each has. A balanced diet is one of the secrets to keeping your body and mind healthy.

5. Exercise

Physical activity has many benefits, both physical and spiritual. Exercise is fundamental when thinking about aging.

Try to have some physical activity routine, even if it is not very long, and is consistent with it. You will see how your strength will benefit and you will have more energy and a willingness to do whatever you plan to do.

6. Love and friendship

Giving as much as receiving is one of the best remedies for the aging of the soul. Try to have an active social life and you will see how the energies will return to your body and you will feel complete again.

7. Keep your mind young

To keep your mind young you can make it a habit to write a few things a day that you would like to do and that you consider childish. Then choose one and run it without any prejudice. This will allow you to go back to those times when being well was your first priority and you didn't worry about things as much as you do now. This will be truly beneficial in your battle against rejuvenation.
