Coach crashed after a draw with Nautico at home, for the Serie B of the Brasileirão
Vasco announced this Monday afternoon, 19, the resignation of coach Marcelo Cabo. The coach fell after Gigante da Colina drew 1-1 with Náutico, last Sunday, 18, a result that prevented the team entering the G4 of Serie B.
Cabo led Vasco in 29 games and had 13 wins, 10 draws and six defeats. The professional and leaves the team in 8th place in the competition.
In Serie B, Vasco, considered one of the favorites, has not yet engaged, with 18 points in 36 disputed, with five wins, three draws and four defeats.
"In a season the Club especially needs results, Vasco regrets that these have not been exactly what was desired, being the only reason for the change", admitted the club in a statement.
Along with Cabo, assistant Gabriel Cabo and physical trainer Tiago Melsert also leave Vasco. The next training sessions will be led by Fábio Cortez and Daniel Félix, the permanent technical committee.
